The Long Beach Legal Professionals Association (“LBLPA”) formerly Long Beach Legal Secretaries Association began in 1929. It was the first legal secretaries association formed in the state of California. From that association many other associations were formed. LBLPA is a chapter of “LSI®, Educating California’s Legal Professionals” (“LSI”).
Like LSI, LBLPA is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational, professional, and personal development programs to its membership, consisting of attorneys, legal assistants, paralegals, legal secretaries, legal administrative assistants, court reporters, law office administrators and anyone in a law-related profession.
We have meetings every second Tuesday of every month during the year, except July and December. We host a Membership Drive event every May. For more information on our events, go to our events page.
